As a Transport Driver, you are a member of the NECO Team. This position will be responsible for delivering bulk petroleum products.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:

  • Have the ability to interact with dispatch, customers, terminal staff and the general public with courtesy and professionalism.

  • Have the ability to drive a commercial vehicle safely in all weather conditions.

  • Be able to read and write legibly and understand DOT rules and regulations.

  • Maintain confidentiality of data and information at all times.

 

RESPONSIBILITIES: include, but are not limited to the following:

  • Complete pre and post trips on vehicle each day.

  • Load and unload petroleum products safely and in a timely manner. Make certain all paperwork is completed and signed by customer.

  • Fill out driver log whenever there is a change of duty and turn in with paperwork daily.

  • Alert dispatch to any concerns regarding vehicle care/maintenance issues.

 

QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Prefer a minimum of 5 years driving experience with at least2 yr experience hauling petroleum or driving like equipment.

  • Clean MVR with tanker and hazmat endorsements.

  • Be able to cross Canadian border.
